SOUTHWEST SYNERGY MISSION STATEMENT

Facilitate the sharing of information, 

provide peer networking opportunities, and 

promote personal development for support professionals.

 

 

Southwest Synergy is the Arizona Chapter of the HDI since December 16, 1991

It is a non-profit organization designed to facilitate the sharing of information among customer support organizations. Southwest Synergy is operated by a group of volunteer customer support professionals interested in peer networking, knowledge sharing, and personal development.

Southwest Synergy provides its members opportunities for enhancing personal growth, sharing "best practices" information, discussing staffing and training methods. All Southwest Synergy meetings are designed to offer new and unique solutions to business issues and foster relationships between peers for personal and professional growth.

At the July 13, 2005 Meeting, the initial review of the Southwest Synergy Bylaws was read and approved by the membership in attendance. The bylaws were passed and signed July 31, 2005. When does Southwest Synergy Meet?

Southwest Synergy meets bi-monthly on the second Thursday of each month, unless otherwise scheduled. Review the calendar for that month for details on upcoming meetings. Typically a member organization will host the meeting which is highlighted by:

Southwest Synergy also sponsors various social events which provide members the opportunity to network in an informal atmosphere. These events allow the exchange of business information on topics of interest previously selected by the membership.

Non-members are welcome to attend Southwest Synergy meetings for a nominal fee.

What is (HDI)?

HDI is a member-centric organization, focusing on the needs of internal and external support organizations and the vendors who support them. HDI's mission is to:

Our vision is to lead the customer support profession worldwide.

HDI provides targeted information about the technologies, tools and trends of the help desk and customer support industry, as well as customized training and certification programs for both the individual and site support organization. HDI also provides numerous opportunities for members to network with their peers, via participation in one of HDI's more than 50 local chapters or in HDI-hosted gatherings. HDI is the leading support services association with more than 7,500 members in North America and around the world. In addition, HDI provides limited online support resources to 17,500 people through eMemberships and online newsletters. Do I need to join HDI and Southwest Synergy?

Southwest Synergy and HDI is now one organization!

When you join HDI you automatically become a member of Southwest Synergy for no additional membership fee. To join HDI and Southwest Synergy complete the Membership Application on the HDI site, attend one of the chapter meetings or contact one of your local board members.
